Dry Liver Treat Recipe

Try making this recipe yourself! Here is a quick overview of the recipe from the video. The video contains more details and instructions, so make sure you watch the video before you try making this simple, nutritious and delicious dog treat yourself.

Ingredient: Raw liver (I used cow liver)

How to make – the following are only the main steps, watch the video for more details!

  • Step 1: Buy some raw liver
  • Step 2: Preheat the oven to 100°C / 212F
  • Step 3: Cut the liver into thin slices that are fairly similar in thickness and size
  • Step 4: Add the liver slices onto a cooking sheet lined with aluminum foil
  • Step 5: Place the cooking sheet with the liver pieces into the preheated oven
  • Step 6: After about 1h 40min or when the liver pieces look like they do in the video above, take them out of the oven and flip them over. If they are not dry on both sides, put them back into the oven with the less dry side facing up for about another 30-40min.
  • Step 7: When the liver slices are nice and dry on both sides, take them out of the oven and place them on a cooling rack until they are nice and cool.

And that’s it! Now you can let your dog enjoy some delicious, guilt-free treats 🙂
